Erwin Tulfo tops OCTA’s October senatorial survey for Eleksyon 2025


ACT-CIS party-list Representative Erwin Tulfo has topped OCTA Research’s  latest senatorial survey for the 2025 national and local elections.

The Tugon ng Masa National Survey, conducted by OCTA Research from September 30 to October 4, showed that 60% of adult Filipinos would vote for Tulfo if the May 2025 elections were held during the survey period.

Claiming the second spot was Senator Bong Go with 49% voting preference.

Former Senate president Vicente Sotto III got 42% voting preference which could land him from the third to fifth spot.

Incumbent Senators Imee Marcos and Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa both got 39% voting preference which could give them the third to seventh spot.

Both Senator Pia Cayetano and former Manila mayor Isko Moreno claimed the fourth to ninth spot with voting preference of 36% and 35%, respectively.

Tied on the sixth and tenth places are former senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and incumbent Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla as both got 32% from the latest survey.

Senator Manuel “Lito” Lapid and former senator Manny Pacquiao shared the tenth to 13th spot after they both got 26%.

Dr. Willie Ong also has a statistical chance of winning after getting 21% voting preference which could land him from the 11th to 18th spot.

While Filipinos will only vote for 12 senators in the 2025 midterm polls, the latest OCTA Research survey also showed that former senators Kiko Pangilinan and Gringo Honasan, as well as former Vice President Noli de Castro followed Ong in the ranking as they all got 19% voting preference.

Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro followed them with 18% and former senator Richard Gordon with 16%.

Completing the top 20 personalities with highest voting preferences were Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos Jr. and former Vice President Leni Robredo with both having 15% voting preference.

The survey was conducted among 1,200 male and female respondents aged 18 years and above from Class AB, C, D, or E in the National Capital Region, Balance Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao with a ±3 margin of error.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
