DOH confirms 160 new COVID-19 cases
The Philippines confirmed 160 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, bringing the country's total cases since the start of the pandemic to 4,117,734.
The Department of Health's COVID-19 tracker also said that active cases decreased by 61 to 3,031, while recoveries rose by 612 cases to 4,047,989.
The death toll remains at 66,714.
The region with the most new COVID-19 cases in the last 14 days is the National Capital Region with 992, followed by Calabarzon with 422, Central Luzon with 205, Davao Region with 152, and Soccsksargen with 110.
Among cities and provinces, Quezon City reported the most new COVID-19 cases in the last 14 days with 266, followed by Rizal province with 144, Cavite province with 138, Bulacan province with 109, and Laguna province with 93.
COVID-19 bed occupancy is at 15.5%, with 3,156 beds occupied—including 1,981 in the ICU—and 17,191 vacant. — BM, GMA Integrated News
