Philippines logs 127 new COVID-19 cases

The Philippines logged 127 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, bringing the nationwide caseload to 4,115,325, the Department of Health (DOH) said.
Based on the latest bulletin, there are 2,912 active cases, while the total recoveries increased to 4,045,711.
The country's death toll is currently at 66,702.
In the past two weeks, NCR had the most cases with 966, Calabarzon with 361, Central Luzon with 199, Davao Region with 147, and Soccsksargen with 113.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 bed occupancy is 14.9%, with 3,080 occupied and 17,533 vacant.
DOH added that 3,328 individuals were tested on October 2, while 295 testing labs submitted data.—LDF, GMA Integrated News
