President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte attended a concert honoring Filipino teachers in the Malacañang complex on Sunday evening, in celebration of National Teachers’ Month.

With the theme, "Konsyerto sa Palasyo: Para sa Mahal Nating mga Guro," the event at the Kalayaan Grounds aimed to show appreciation for educators and their immense dedication and hard work.

The KSP featured inspiring stories of teachers who have gone the extra mile to mold and shape their students' futures amid the pandemic, the Department of Education (DepEd) said.

The concert featured performances in the fields of performance art, theatre, rap, singing, and dancing.

"Sama-sama nating iparamdam sa ating mga guro ang taos-puso nating pagmamahal at pasasalamat sa ikatlong Konsyerto sa Palasyo!" Marcos said in a Facebook post earlier today.

Marcos attended the concert with wife First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos. Also in attendance was his sister, Senator Imee Marcos.
