75-year-old lady barker seeks help from GMA Kapuso Foundation
A 75-year-old lady barker is asking for help to have the lump on her neck removed.
According to “24 Oras,” Friday, Helen Bermundo has been using her voice for her job as a jeepney barker for four decades now, which is why her voice has turned hoarse.
Helen has been suffering from the lump on her neck for 10 years already.
The GMA Kapuso Foundation took Helen to a specialist and had her condition checked.
Or pangalawa, pwedeng genetic. Or pangatlo, pwedeng ‘yung pagkakaroon natin ng problema sa radiation. Eventually, baka kailangan talaga siyang maoperahan,” Dr. Gil Vicente said.
Meanwhile, in August last year, the GMA Kapuso Foundation was able to help Elma Mateo remove the lump on her neck she endured for eight years.
Maraming maraming salamat po talaga at naoperahan ako,” Elma said.
Like Elma, Helen hopes to have the lump on her neck removed as well.
For those who are interested to help, the GMA Kapuso Foundation is accepting donations through bank deposits, Cebuana Lhuillier, GCash, Shopee, PayMaya, Zalora, MegaMart, Globe Rewards, Metrobank credit card, and Lazada.
