Philippines logs 185 new COVID-19 cases
The Department of Health on Thursday reported 185 new COVID-19 infections, bringing the nationwide caseload to 4,114,471 cases.
Active cases increased by 81 infections to 3,012, while total recoveries rose by 104 to 4,044,659. The death toll stayed at 66,696.
The region with the most new COVID-19 cases over the past 14 days is NCR with 885, followed by Calabarzon with 347, Central Luzon with 203, the Davao Region with 158, and Soccsksargen with 120.
Among cities and provinces, Quezon City had the most new COVID-19 cases in the last 14 days with 232, followed by Rizal province with 138, Cavite province with 106, City of Manila with 102, and Bulacan province with 97.
On Wednesday, 3,726 individuals were tested, and 300 testing labs submitted data.
COVID-19 bed occupancy is at 15.3%, with 3,171 occupied and 17,550 vacant. — Sherylin Untalan/BM, GMA Integrated News
