Groups stage protest on 51st Martial Law anniversary
The protesters simultaneously chanted “Never Again!” at Liwasang Bonifacio on Thursday to commemorate the 51st anniversary of Martial Law.
According to a "24 Oras" report by Jonathan Andal, the protester wore black to symbolize the "dark and horrible" era in the country's history.
The rallyists gathered at the Department of Justice Building in Manila before marching to Mendiola to meet the other groups. Similar protests were held in Southern Tagalog.
They rallyists called on the administration to address high prices and to stop enforced disappearances.
