SC eyes releasing 2023 Bar exams results before Christmas
The Supreme Court (SC) said Sunday it is targeting to release the results of the 2023 Bar examinations in early December.
Bar chairperson and Associate Justice Ramon Paul Hernando made the announcement as the three-day examinations began on Sunday with a total of 10,791 takers, based on a report of Mao dela Cruz on Super Radyo dzBB.
“My team and I are eyeing the release of the results of the 2023 Bar examinations in early December, before Christmas day,” Hernando said at a press conference.
“Moreover, there will be simultaneous oath taking and signing of the Roll of Attorneys in December also before Christmas Day so that we will have our new batch of full-fledged lawyers before 2023 ends,” he added.
Of the 10,791 examinees, 5,821 took the exam for the first time, while 4,970 took it for at least the second time, the SC said.
The examinees trooped early on Sunday to 14 local testing centers nationwide for the exam which started at 8 a.m.
The 2023 Bar exams will continue on September 20 and 24. —KG, GMA Integrated News
