Cabinet secretaries, senators attend birthday celebration of Marcos
President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr., his Cabinet, and some senators gathered Tuesday night to celebrate the 66th birthday of the state leader.
Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco and Interior and Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos posted photos of the President's birthday celebration held at the Malacañang Palace.
The President's birthday was on September 13, the day he flew to Singapore to attend the 10th Asian Conference.
In his post, Abalos said Marcos has continued to serve as an inspiration to government officials in serving the public, saying that his leadership serves as a guide to all public servants.
Frasco also posted a photo with the First Couple and her husband, House Deputy Speaker and Cebu Representative Duke Frasco.
Meanwhile, Kathryna Yu-Pimentel, wife of Senate Minority Leader Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel III, also shared photos of Marcos' birthday celebration.
She thanked First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos for inviting them to the party.
As seen in the photos, among those who attended Marcos' celebration were Presidential Communications Secretary Cheloy Garafil, Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista, Labor Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma, Public Works and Highways Secretary Manuel Bonoan, Health Secretary Ted Herbosa, Information and Communications Technology Secretary Ivan John Uy, Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro, Science and Technology Secretary Renato Solidum Jr., and National Security Adviser Eduardo Año.
