Gloria Arroyo on ‘social dinner’ with Leni Robredo: We chatted about Bicol politics

Former President and now Deputy Speaker Gloria Macapagal Arroyo issued a Saturday statement on a recent photo of her with former Vice president Leni Robredo.

"I recently had a social dinner with former Vice President Leni Robredo and mutual friends from Bicol," said Arroyo, according to a report by GMA News' Jonathan Andal. "We chatted about Bicol politics."

Robredo served as Camarines Sur's Third District Representative from 2013 to 2016.

Her late husband, Jesse Robredo, served as Naga City mayor from 2001 to 2010. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
