SC announces court suspensions for Monday, Sept. 4, 2023

Several courts suspended operations for Monday, September 4 due to bad weather and flooding, according to the Supreme Court.

Operations were suspended in:

All courts in Dagupan City, Pangasinan

Hall of Justice  in Lingayen, Pangasinan

Classes, flights canceled

Several localities meanwhile canceled classes for Monday due to inclement weather caused by Typhoon Hanna and the Southwest Monsoon.

Some airlines also canceled their flights for Monday due to unfavorable weather condition.

As of 4 a.m., PAGASA said Signal No. 1 remains over Batanes as Typhoon Hanna (international name: Haikui) made landfall in Kaohsiung City in Taiwan.

Hanna is also enhancing the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) which will bring occasional to monsoon rains over the western portion of Luzon and Antique in the next three days.  — Joahna Lei Casilao/RSJ, GMA Integrated News
