CA confirms appointment of AFP chief, 28 officials

The Commission on Appointments (CA) on Monday confirmed the promotion of Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) General Romeo Brawner Jr. and 28 other officials.

This is after the CA Committee on National Defense endorsed the ad interim appointments of the generals to the plenary.

The AFP officials whose appointments were confirmed are the following:

• Romeo S. Brawner Jr. - to the rank of General
• Eugene Henry Z. Cabusao - to the rank of Colonel, Philippine Army
• Salvador Henry H. Quinto - to the rank of Commodore
• Maynard G. Camarao - to the rank of Brigadier General
• Francisco F. Lorenzo Jr. - to the rank of Brigadier General
• Antonio G. Mangoroban Jr. - to the rank of Brigadier General
• Rommel P. Roldan - to the rank of Major General
• Ferdinand Melchor C. Delacruz - to the rank of Brigadier General
• Joey A. Escanillas - to the rank of Brigadier General
• Arnel Jose J. Morada  - to the rank of Brigadier General
• Ulysses S. Marquez - to the rank of Brigadier General
• Marion T. Angcao - to the rank of Brigadier General
• Peter B. Burgonio - to the rank of Brigadier General
• Christopher C. Tampus - to the rank of Brigadier General
• Juliano C. Llarenas - to the rank of Brigadier General
