GMA Kapuso Foundation inaugurates classroom, donates supplies to Polillo Island students

Following the inauguration of a new Kapuso classroom building in Polillo Island, Quezon, the GMA Kapuso Foundation distributed sets of school backpacks and supplies to students.

According to a report on "24 Oras," Friday, among the students who received new stationery items was consistent honor student Rayna Bertudez.

Rayna and her mom, Jenefer, just peeled the used pages from her old notebooks so she can use them again in the current school year.

Through the GMA Kapuso Foundation’s “Unang Hakbang sa Kinabukasan” project, students of Binibitinan Elementary School received new school bags with complete school supplies.

“Kayo yung binibitinan, dito bumibitin, dito umaasa. So anong ibig sabihin, dapat matibay. Binibitinan kayo ng mga bata,” Ambassador and Special Adviser Mel Tiangco said.

For those who are interested to help, the GMA Kapuso Foundation is accepting donations through bank deposits, Cebuana Lhuillier, GCash, Shopee, PayMaya, Zalora, MegaMart, Globe Rewards, Metrobank credit card, and Lazada.
