DOH logs 113 new COVID-19 cases
A total of 113 new COVID-19 cases were recorded by the Department of Health on Thursday, bringing the nationwide caseload to 4,109,404.
The latest bulletin also showed that the active cases increased by 18 cases to 2,757, for the third straight day of more than 2,000 active cases. Total recoveries rose by 95 cases to 4,040,099, while the death toll remains at 66,661.
The National Capital Region remains the region with the most new cases in the last 14 days with 403 cases, followed by Calabarzon with 186, Central Luzon with 179, Davao Region with 104, and Western Visayas with 99.
Among cities and provinces, Quezon City had the most new cases in the last 14 days with 99, followed by Laguna with 57, Davao City with 55, Cavite with 52, and Bulacan with 51.
There were 3,679 individuals tested, while 308 testing labs submitted data on Wednesday.
The bed occupancy is 12.5%, with 19,546 vacant and 2,790 occupied. — Sherylin Untalan/BM, GMA Integrated News
