Marcos appoints ex-solon Savellano as DA undersecretary

President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. appointed former lawmaker Deogracias Victor "DV" Savellano as undersecretary of the Department of Agriculture.

The Presidential Communications Office announced the appointment was on Friday.

To recall, Savellano served as Ilocos Sur 1st District representative.

Before his stint at the House of Representatives, he also served as governor and vice governor of Ilocos Sur. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
