Winner of P366-million Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot vows to help needy

A man from Nueva Ecija has claimed the Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot prize of over P366 million from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office.

According to its Facebook post, the PCSO said the winner was still in "a state of disbelief" when he claimed his prize.

“Hindi ko pa alam sa ngayon kung paano ko iha-handle ang ganito kalaking pera. Pero syempre, unang una, tutulong tayo sa kapwa, magbabahagi tayo dahil alam ko may plano si Lord bakit tayo biniyayaan ng ganito," the winner was quoted as saying.

"Huwag po tayong mawalan ng pag-asa. May mga pagkakataon po na nanghihinayang tayo kasi hindi tayo tumama, pero lagi po nating isipin na bawat taya po natin, nakakatulong po tayo sa kapwa.” he added.

The 40-year-old bought his ticket in one of the lotto outlets of Cabiao town.

He was said to have bet on five combinations, choosing his numbers for the first four before relying on the lucky pick system for his fifth.

The combination 43-58-37-47-27-17 in the Ultra Lotto 6/58 won for the lone winner P366,687,465.20.

There were no winners in the Ultra Lotto 6/58, Super Lotto 6/49, and Lotto 6/42 draws on Tuesday, July 18.

The combination 12-16-44-47-30-02 would have won for an Ultra Lotto 6/58 bettor P49,500,000.

The combination 30-01-20-32-15-36 would have won for a Super Lotto 6/49 bettor P65,606,535.20.

The combination 04-14-18-36-27-07 would have won for a Lotto 6/42 bettor P14,002,606.40.
