DOH logs 303 new COVID-19 cases
The Department of Health on Sunday logged 303 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the Philippines' total cases to 4,169,947.
Active cases decreased by 90 to 5,789—the lowest tally since April 29's 5,070 cases, according to GMA Integrated News Research.
Total recoveries increased by 393 cases to 4,097,648, while the death toll remains at 66,510.
The National Capital Region was the region with the most new COVID-19 cases in the last 14 days with
861, followed by Central Luzon with 680; Calabarzon with 517; Western Visayas with 280; and Ilocos Region with 308.
Among cities and provinces, Quezon City had the most new cases in the last 14 days with 209, followed by Iloilo province with 162; Nueva Ecija province with 154; Cavite province with 150; and Bulacan province with 143.
COVID-19 bed occupancy is at 15.2%, with 3,643 beds occupied and 20,313 vacant. Of the occupied beds, 2,388 are in the ICU. — BM, GMA Integrated News
