Marcos says DA employees to get bonus
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. said Tuesday that Department of Agriculture (DA) employees would get bonuses following the agency's 125th founding anniversary.
Marcos, who sits as the DA Secretary, attended the opening ceremony for the agency's anniversary in Quezon City. During the photo opportunity, Marcos said the bonuses were for the efforts of the employees amid the anniversary.
The President said in jest that he mentioned about the bonus so that the employees would smile in the picture.
In an interview with reporters, Marcos was asked how much will be the bonus for each employee. He said he would still check the agency's savings but guaranteed that there will be a bonus.
"Titingnan ko pa kung ano 'yung savings natin pero may bonus kayo," he said.—LDF, GMA Integrated News
