Marcos administers oath of newly-appointed officials

President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. administered the oath of office of some of the newly-appointed officials under his administration.

The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said those who took their oaths on Wednesday were the following:

• Suharto Mangudadatu - director general, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority

• Katrina Ponce Enrile - administrator and chief executive officer, Cagayan Special Economic Zone

• Mohammed Hussein Pangandaman - administrator, Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan

Katrina Ponce Enrile is the daughter of former senator and Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile.

Meanwhile, the PCO announced Mangudadatu's appointment on Tuesday, acknowledging his notable career in public service, which includes his stint as representative of both the Lone District of Sultan Kudarat from 2004 to 2007 and the First District of Sultan Kudarat from 2016 to 2019. —Anna Felicia Bajo/ VAL, GMA Integrated News
