PNR releases ticket sales for stations to be closed starting July 2
The Philippine National Railways (PNR) released on Saturday the number of tickets sold in stations to be closed starting on July 2 to make way for the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) project.
PNR listed the ticket sales for Calamba, Mamatid, Cabuyao, Sta. Rosa, Biñan, Golden City, Pacita Main Gate, San Pedro, and Muntinlupa stations from January to May 2023.
On Friday, PNR announced that the daily trips of the PNR Alabang to Calamba route would halt starting on July 2 to give way to the construction of the NSCR system.
Only two trips will be affected by the route’s closure: 4:38 a.m. and 7:56 p.m., the Department of Transportation (DOTr) said.
About 467 commuters take the trips daily, the DOTr said. —Sherylin Untalan/VBL, GMA Integrated News
