Marcos to 2022 Bar exam passers: Serve country with integrity, compassion
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Friday congratulated and urged the passers of the 2022 Bar examinations to serve the country with integrity and compassion.
“Congratulations to our 2022 Bar Examination passers!” Marcos said in a statement.
“May you always serve our nation with integrity and compassion,” he added.
The Supreme Court announced that a total of 3,992 out of the 9,183 examinees passed the Bar examinations held in November last year.
This translates to a passing rate of 43.47%, the SC said.
Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa, chairperson of the 2022 Bar exams, said that of the top 30 examinees, 13 were from the University of the Philippines, while eight were from the Ateneo de Manila University.
According to the SC, Ateneo posted the highest passing rate (96.74%) among law schools with over a hundred candidates.
This was followed by San Beda University (96.67%), UP (94.27%), the University of San Carlos (91.43%), and the University of Santo Tomas (78.09%). —Anna Felicia Bajo/VBL, GMA Integrated News
