Senate employees to receive P50,000 inflation assistance
Senate employees will receive a one-time P50,000 inflation allowance for 2023, Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri announced Monday.
During the Senate's flag-raising ceremony, Zubiri said the inflation assistance for their employees will increase from P12,200 to P50,000.
Of course, charity begins at home kaya sa Senado, we made sure that all 3,000 employees have inflation assistance," the Senate chief said.
Zubiri likewise announced that the Senate will increase its medical assistance to its employees from P30,000 to P50,000.
He said these incentives were sourced from the Senate's savings.
So ang pakiusap ko nga kanina na sana we spend less on paper, we spend less on overtime para maibalik din sa mga empleyado itong savings in terms of incentives and bonuses," Zubiri said.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
