DepEd to present basic education report on Jan. 30, 2023

The Department of Education (DepEd) will present its Basic Education Report on January 30, the agency said on Tuesday.

In a statement, the DepEd said the BER 2023 aims to lay out the state of basic education in the Philippines as well as the plans and initiatives of the agency.

According to DepEd, it intends "to provide a broad report about the basic education sector which will include updates on the on-going review of the K to 12 curriculum."

The BER also aims to launch the education agenda and the new call to action for Filipinos.

Meanwhile, according to Palace press briefer Daphne Paez, Education Secretary Sara Duterte presented the plans for inclusive learning, support for teachers, and improving the curriculum during the Cabinet meeting. — BM, GMA Integrated News
