Marcos to celebrate New Year with family in Malacañang

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and the first family will celebrate New Year’s eve and New Year’s day in Malacañang Palace, the Office of the Press Secretary (OPS) confirmed on Saturday.

Earlier in the month Marcos opened Malacañang to the public for the traditional pre-dawn masses or Simbang Gabi.

He said that his goal was to make sure that every Filipino child would experience Christmas.

The President said that Filipinos remain blessed despite the difficulties that the country has faced due to the COVID-19 pandemic. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
