According to Oscar Oida's report on "24 Oras," the seized drugs were destroyed in Cavite through thermal decomposition or thermolysis which uses the technology of burning with heat that reaches 10 times that of a boiling water.

On December 7, 2022, over P9 million of suspected shabu were confiscated in a raid at Barangay Upper Bicutan in Taguig, which also resulted in the arrest of three PDEA personnel.

"Yung buong SDO (Southern District Office) na re-assign sila siyempre hihiram din kami ng personnel from other offices siyempre para swapping din lang but di na sila southern,” PDEA director general Moro Virgilio Lazo said.

"Sana i-reconsider nila, you know in bicutan sinabi ko nga kay SILG baka pwedeng kausapin si Mayor Cayetano na baka pwede i-reconsider," Lazo added, in relation to the withdrawal of the building that was supposed to be used by the PDEA from Taguig City Hall, following the incident.—Sherylin Untalan/LDF, GMA Integrated New
