First Lady Liza Marcos joins spouses of APEC leaders in Thai museum tour
BANGKOK, Thailand — First Lady Marie Louise “Liza” Araneta-Marcos joined spouses of economic leaders across the region in a visit to a major landmark in Thailand, in line with the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit.
The tour of the Arts of the Kingdom Museum in Ayutthaya was led by Naraporn Chan-o-cha, the spouse of Thailand Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha.
According to the APEC, among the exhibits viewed include Thai handicrafts and the Duet Dance which has been declared an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO.
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and the First Lady arrived in Bangkok on Wednesday evening.
