Over 1,200 jobs available for Filipinos in Israel
Over 1,200 jobs are available for Filipinos in Israel, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said.
According to JP Soriano's report on "24 Oras," the application is open for hotel workers and housekeepers.
The starting salary is approximately P80,000 per month aside from benefits.
To avoid getting scammed by illegal recruitments, DMW advised the public to apply only through official channels. The application is also free of charge.
Interested applicants must obtain a TESDA National Certificate (NC 2) and process the online registration before going to the DMW offices.
"Ang atin pong initiation ng ating application of course online. Kinakailangan lang po sundin natin yung mga requirements," said Bernard Olalia, DMW Undersecretary for Licensing and Adjudication Services.
Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia, the ministry of health said it needs 600 Filipino female nurses, through the government-to-government track. The interview is scheduled from December 5 to 9, 2022.
Applicants must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science In Nursing, with license and a minimum one year post-board-related experience.
According to the report, the basic salary will not be less than P62,000, which can be increased depending on the years of experience.
Aside from Israel, talks have also been held to form an agreement with Germany and Portugal for jobs Filipinos can apply for.—Sherylin Untalan/LDF, GMA Integrated News
