Cebu ports resume operations after Tropical Storm Paeng
Ports in Cebu have resumed normal operations, following nearly two days of trip suspensions due to Tropical Storm Paeng (international name: Nalgae).
In an advisory, the Cebu Port Authority said all ports in the area are operating as normal, and vessel trips have already resumed.
The Cebu Port Authority said as of Sunday afternoon, a number of passengers were already awaiting boarding procedures for trips heading to Bohol, Siquijor, Dumaguete, and Plaridel.
Tropical Storm Paeng continues to move west northwestward over the West Philippine Sea with over four areas in Luzon under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2, according to the advisory released by PAGASA late Sunday morning.
At least 48 fatalities have been reported while almost a million were affected by Tropical Storm Paeng. —LBG, GMA news
