Frasco's appointment as DOT chief endorsed for confirmation

A Commission on Appointments (CA) panel on Tuesday endorsed the confirmation of the ad interim appointment of Christina Frasco as the Secretary of the Department of Tourism.
 
It was CA Majority Leader and Camarines Sur Representative Luis Raymund Villafuerte who asked the CA committee on tourism to endorse Frasco's appointment to the plenary for its approval.
 
This was immediately seconded by CA Chairperson and Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri.
 
Frasco is a former mayor of Liloan, Cebu, and served as a campaign spokesperson for Vice President Sara Duterte in the May elections. — VBL, GMA News
