The Philippine National Police-Anti-Kidnapping Group (PNP-AKG) on Monday filed several complaints against 11 individuals in connection with the disappearance of a chief executive officer of a pharmaceutical company in Taguig City.

The complaints for kidnapping for ransom, murder, and arson were filed before the Department of Justice.

PNP-AKG said investigation showed that victim Eduardo Tolosa went to Tagaytay City before noon of July 19 to meet with someone. Around afternoon, he phoned an employee and asked her to prepare cash amounting to $102,700, one Rolex watch, and one Hublot watch.

The money and items were delivered to Tolosa that evening in BGC. However, the victim could no longer be contacted after that.

An unidentified male was later seen driving his vehicle through CCTV footage of C5-SLEX Southbound.

His SUV was found charred in Pampanga on July 20.

The PNP-AKG said that on August 8, two of the respondents surrendered to them and expressed willingness to share information.

“Their respective sworn statements revealed the circumstance surrounding the Kidnapping for Ransom and Killing of victim Eduardo Tolosa, the names of their cohorts, the mastermind, and the place where they dumped and burned the body,” the complaint read.—AOL, GMA News
