Robredo gets Harvard invitation for public leadership engagement

Former Vice President Leni Robredo has been invited at the Harvard Kennedy School Center for Public Leadership to serve as one its Hauser Leaders from September onwards this year.

In a Facebook post, Robredo said Hauser Leaders will engage with students, faculty, alumni, and the wider Harvard community during their stint on campus.

"A huge honor to be invited at Harvard Kennedy School's Center for Public Leadership, as one of its Hauser Leaders for the Fall 2022 semester... I'm both thrilled and humbled [to] be given this space to share my advocacies and experiences, alongside this roster of distinguished leaders from various fields and sectors," she said.

"What a blessing it is to be returning to Cambridge for this opportunity," she added.

Harvard's Hauser Leaders Program "brings distinguished leadership practitioners from across the public, nonprofit, and private sectors to Center for Public Leadership to engage with students, faculty, and the wider Harvard community."

Aside from Robredo, the other Hauser Leaders include former US lawmaker Jane Harman, The Washington Post columnist and novelist David Ignatius, United Negro College Fund president and CEO Michael Lomax, and LRN and the HOW Institute for Society founder and chairman Dov Seidman.

Robredo currently serves as the chairperson of nongovernment unit Angat Pinas, Inc. which aids communities in need through partnerships with both the public and private sector.—Llanesca Panti/AOL, GMA News
