Ex-VP Robredo meets DSWD's Tulfo, offers help in community work
Former Vice President Leni Robredo met with Secretary Erwin Tulfo of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Friday to offer help in distributing aid to communities in need.
(Former Vice President Robredo and Angat Buhay officials visited our central office. She said their volunteers are willing to help the DSWD in touching base with the people in the provinces so DSWD can be immediately informed of and be of assistance in the areas and people in need.)
(Thank you for the visit and the offer of your volunteers to help.)
Robredo, in a separate statement, confirmed the meeting.
"We met with DSWD Secretary Erwin Tulfo today to present the programs of Angat Buhay and to explore possible areas of collaboration," Robredo said.
"We look forward to working with the Department of Social Welfare and Development in uplifting the lives of our fellow Filipinos," Robredo added.
