DepEd releases guidelines for School Year 2022-2023 enrollment
The Department of Education (DepEd) on Saturday released guidelines on enrollment for the 2022-2023 School Year that starts on August 22.
DepEd Order No. 35 provides guidelines for school heads, teachers, and parents regarding the new enrollment process, which starts on July 25 and ends on August 22.
According to the guidelines, enrollment would be administered through in-person, remote, and enrollment through dropbox forms.
For the in-person mode, the DepEd said parents and students can physically process their enrollment while observing minimum health and safety standards.
Remote enrollments, on the other hand, can be facilitated by filing out the digital forms and sending it through the official email address of the school or any of the available messaging platforms provided by the school.
Meanwhile, parents and students may also fill out forms in their homes and physically submit through drop boxes in the schools where the students are to be enrolled.
Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte had said that combined in-person classes and distance learning would be implemented from August to October, while five-day face-to-face classes would start on November.
