Marcos holds second Cabinet meeting via teleconference
President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. presided over the second Cabinet meeting on Tuesday through teleconference.
Marcos was not physically present at the meeting held at the Presidential Guest House as he continued to be in isolation after testing positive for COVID-19 last week.
The President's health has since improved and he "is on his way to a complete recovery," his doctor said on Monday.
According to Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles, among the topics discussed during the meeting, which began at 9 a.m., were the 2023 national budget, the "Build, Build, Build" and the infrastructure convergence programs, as well as the priority transportation programs and projects.
The initial plans of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) were also tackled.
