832 new COVID-19 cases recorded, active tally at 10,032
The Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday recorded 832 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the country’s caseload to 3,710,145.
The number of active infections also slightly decreased to 10,032 from 10,094 on Monday, according to the DOH’s latest data posted on its website.
The Health department said the top regions with cases in the recent two weeks were the National Capital Region (NCR) with 5,918, followed by Calabarzon with 2,353, Western Visayas with 1,043, Central Luzon with 848, and Central Visayas with 591.
The recovery tally also rose to 3,639,503, while the death toll reached 60,610.
The country’s bed occupancy rate stood to 19.6% as of Monday, July 4.
Meanwhile, a total of 5,709 beds were occupied, while 23,468 were vacant.
