Biden has invited Bongbong Marcos to visit US —envoy
US President Joe Biden has invited President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. to visit Washington, Philippine Ambassador to the US Jose Manuel Romualdez said on Sunday.
However no schedule has been set yet, he said.
"No schedule. Invitation as soon as schedule mutually agreed upon 'by their teams,'" Romualdez told GMA News Online.

The ambassador confirmed that a letter of invitation was handed to Marcos by Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff.
Emhoff headed the presidential delegation sent by Biden to attend the inauguration of Marcos held June 30 at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Manila.
GMA News Online has asked the camp of Marcos for comment but it has yet to issue a statement. —KG, GMA News
