Eid’l Adha to be held on July 9, 2022, says Bangsamoro Darul-Ifta
The Eid’l Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice will be held on July 9, the Islamic advisory council in the Bangsamoro Region or the Bangsamoro Darul-Ifta announced Thursday.
“By virtue of the authority vested in me as Bangsamoro Mufti, I hereby announce that the Eidul-Adha sacrificial festival this year will be on Saturday, July 9,” Mufti Abuhuraira Udasan said in a statement.
During Eid'l Adha, Muslims slaughter sheep, goats, cows, and camels to commemorate Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son on Allah's command.
