Leni meets Sara's team for transition talks

Outgoing Vice President Leni Robredo met with Vice President-elect Sara Duterte's representatives for transition talks, according to Marisol Abdurahman’s “24 Oras” report on Friday.

Robredo welcomed and gave Duterte’s transition team a tour during their visit to the Office of the Vice President in Quezon City.

During the meeting, Robredo said she was ready to provide assistance and guidance to ensure a smooth transition to the next administration.

On June 1, the transition teams held a Zoom meeting during which they discussed the overview of the organization and primary reforms and projects under Robredo’s term.

Meanwhile, the San Pedro Square in Davao City was being readied for the inauguration of Vice president-elect Sara Duterte on June 19, according to Ian Cruz’s “24 Oras” report.
