Anakalusugan nominee Regina Reyes Mandanas passes away

Anakalusugan party-list on Thursday announced the passing of its nominee Regina Reyes Mandanas, wife of Batangas Governor Hermilando Mandanas.

In a statement posted on Facebook, Anakalusugan sought prayers for its nominee and encouraged the public to support her cause through the party-list.

“We ask for prayers for the repose of the soul of Anakalusugan #51 Partylist nominee and former Congresswoman, Atty. Regina Reyes Mandanas, wife of Governor Hermilando Dodo Mandanas,” it said.

In a separate statement, the Batangas government's public information office extended condolences to Governor Mandanas following the death of his wife Thursday morning.

“Ipanalangin po natin ang ating Gobernador, kasama ang mga kapamilya, kaibigan at mga nagmamahal kay Ate Gina, sa panahong ito ng pagdadalamhati,” the Batangas PIO said.
