NCR, over 60 other areas under Alert Level 1 until April 30, 2022 —IATF
National Capital Region (NCR) will remain under Alert Level 1 from April 16 to 30, 2022, according to the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases.
Other areas that will be under Alert Level 1 — the loosest among COVID-19 restrictions — are:

- Dagupan City

- Ilocos Sur
- La Union
- Pangasinan
- Batanes
- Cagayan
- City of Santiago
- Isabela

- Bulacan
- Nueva Ecija
- Olongapo City
- Pampanga

- Batangas

Under Alert Level 1, intrazonal and interzonal travel shall be allowed without regard to age and comorbidities.
All establishments, persons, or activities, are allowed to operate, work, or be undertaken at full on-site or venue/seating capacity provided it is consistent with minimum public health standards.
President Rodrigo Duterte earlier said the country will not deescalate to Alert Level 0 until "everything is alright."
The Department of Health (DOH) previously said it is eyeing to recommend placing some areas under Alert Level 0 but stepped back after Hong Kong, China and South Korea experienced surges in COVID-19 cases.
On the other hand, the following areas will be under Alert Level 2 during the same period:
