DFA: Release of apostille, authenticated documents moved to DoubleDragon Plaza

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Monday announced it relocated the issuance of all apostille and authenticated documents processed at its consular office at the Aseana Business Park Office to the DoubleDragon Plaza in Pasay City starting today, April 11.

The DFA advised all applicants to check the release date indicated on the Authentication slip before proceeding to the DoubleDragon Plaza.

The agency also reminded the applicants to bring the following documents for claiming:

  • original receipt issued by the DFA
  • authorization letter
  • photocopy of the applicant or document owner’s valid ID if a representative will claim the documents.

Last month, long queues formed in front of DFA ASEANA after hundreds of Filipinos, particularly those who want to work overseas, trooped to the consular office to have their employment documents processed.

The DFA blamed the misinformation purportedly spread by recruitment agencies for the influx. -- BAP, GMA News
