Comelec completes printing of Eleksyon 2022 ballots
The Commission on Elections has completed the printing of the official ballots for the May 9 national and local polls.
“The last of the 67.4M official ballots for the polls was printed at approximately 10:28 AM today, April 2,” the poll body announced on its Twitter account on Saturday.

After printing, the Comelec said the ballots will go through a verification process.
According to the poll body, the printing process, which began on January 23, was completed ahead of its April 25 deadline.
In a 24 Oras Weekend report, Comelec Commissioner George Garcia said over 319,000 ballots were "quarantined," with over 178,000 found to be defective.
The defective ballots will be disposed of in the presence of election stakeholders.
Ballots to replace the defective ones will be printed. There will be only one ballot for each voter. —LBG, GMA News
