Parlade, supporters bat for revolutionary gov't in EDSA rally
Retired military general Antonio Parlade Jr. and his supporters trooped to the EDSA People Power Monument on Tuesday to propose the establishment of a revolutionary government supposedly to address government corruption.
The Quezon City Police District said Parlade was joined by more or less 100 of his supporters.
According to a tweet of GMA News' Chino Gaston, Parlade and his supporters called for support against alleged corruption in the Commission on Elections and other government agencies.

Parlade, former commanding general of the military's Southern Luzon Command, was quoted as saying that a revolutionary government may be the only solution.
Sought for reaction, Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana said he has ordered the Armed Forces of the Philippines to "ignore" and "not to listen to" Parlade.
Malacañang echoed Lorenzana's statement.
"Retired General Antonio Parlade's call for a revolutionary government is part of his guaranteed freedom of speech and expression," said acting presidential spokesperson Martin Andanar in a statement.
"However, as Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana directed the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the retired general's call is better left ignored." —KBK, GMA News
