Philippines recognizes COVID-19 vaccination certificate from Cyprus, Croatia, Nepal
The Philippine government has recognized vaccine certificates of three additional countries namely Croatia, Cyprus and Nepal, the Palace said Friday.
Acting deputy presidential spokesperson Kris Ablan said this is provided under Inter-Agency Task Force Resolution 164.
"Upon the recommendation of its Technical Working Group, the national/state COVID-19 vaccination certificate of the following countries/territories/jurisdictions namely, Croatia, Cyprus and Nepal shall hereinafter be accepted/recognized for purposes of arrival quarantine protocols as well as for interzonal/intrazonal movement," the Resolution stated.
"The following countries/territories/jurisdictions will be in addition to such other countries/territories/jurisdictions whose proof of vaccination the IATF has already approved for recognition in the Philippines, and without prejudice to such other proofs of vaccination approved by IATF for all inbound travelers," it added.
Other COVID-19 vaccine certificates previously recognized by the Philippine government include that of Armenia, Hong Kong, Samoa, United States, Chile, Syria, Germany, Oman, Turkey, Ireland, Peru, Estonia, Greece, Portugal, Argentina, Qatar, Australia, Austria, India, United Kingdom, Brunai, Spain, Malta, Bahrain, Iraq, Singapore, Cambodia, Azerbaijan, Uruguay, Belgium, Italy, Slovenia, Vietnam, Macau, Romania, Canada, Japan, Sri Lanka, Brazil, Denmark, British Virgin Islands, Columbia, Kazakhstan, Switzerland, Israel, Ecuador, Egypt, Croatia, Czech Republic, Kuwait, Thailand, Timor Leste, Indonesia, Maldives, France, Monaco, The Netherlands, Republic of Korea, Myanmar, Palau, Georgia, New Zealand, Tunisia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea and Albania. — Llanesca T.
