Maynilad: Water interruptions in select areas to last until end-Feb.

Select customers of Maynilad Water Services Inc. still face water service interruptions until the end of the month, as the firm cited increased turbidity in the water coming from the Laguna Lake.

Maynilad said rotational water service interruptions are expected in several areas in Las Piñas, Parañaque, Muntinlupa, and Cavite until 28 February 2022, as normal service levels are expected to resume on March  1, 2022

Facilities are set to produce 200 million liters per day (MLD) starting February 15, 2022, versus the normal average production of 280 MLD.

“Due to increased turbidity in the raw water coming from Laguna Lake, Maynilad is constrained to reduce water production in our treatment plants,” the concessionaire said in an advisory.
