DOH calls for volunteers for 3rd nat'l vax drive on Feb. 10-11

The Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday called for volunteers for the third wave of the national vaccination drive against COVID-19 on February 10 to 11.

Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said the country’s vaccination sites are in need of the following:

•     Health screeners
•     Vaccinators
•     Post-vaccination monitors
•     Health educators
•     Encoders
•     Talliers/ Data consolidators

“Ngayon pa lamang nais na po naming magpasalamat sa may mga pusong handang magbigay ng oras para sa ating bansa sa pamamagitan ng pagbo-volunteer,” Vergeire said at a media briefing.

She also urged the public to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

Vergeire said the program seeks to inoculate 5 million more Filipinos aged 12 and above for both the primary series and booster shots.

Data from the vaccination dashboard shows that more than 60 million have received at least one dose, 59.8 million have been fully vaccinated against the illness, and 8 million have received a booster shot.—AOL, GMA News
