Pacquiao to kick off Eleksyon 2022 campaign in GenSan

Senator Manny Pacquiao is set to launch his presidential campaign in his hometown General Santos City on Tuesday, the first day of campaign period for those seeking national positions for the 2022 elections.

A caravan will be held in the city at 1 p.m., according to the schedule released by his camp.

This will be followed by a proclamation rally that will mark the campaign takeoff of Pacquiao’s party PROMDI at 3 p.m.

The venues and routes of these activities have yet to be announced by Pacquiao’s team as of Monday afternoon.

Feb. 8, 2022 is the start of the campaign period for president, vice-president, senator, and party-list (PL) representatives. It will run until May 7, 2022. —Joviland Rita/KBK, GMA News
