Fire hits Russian Embassy

A fire broke out at the Russian Embassy in Barangay Dasmariñas, Makati City on Friday night, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.

According to the BFP-National Capital Region (BFP-NCR), the fire on Acacia Street started at 8:25 p.m.

The second alarm was raised at 8:42 p.m.

The fire was declared under control at 9:38 p.m., and fire out was declared at 2:10 a.m. Saturday.

No one was hurt in the fire.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire, but the BFP-NCR said the fire started on the second floor of the building.

Damage is estimated to cost P101.1 million. —NB/KG, GMA News
