Pacquiao: My dream is to lift Filipinos out of poverty like my family, relatives
Presidential aspirant and Senator Manny Pacquiao on Friday vowed that he will take the Filipinos out of poverty like what he did with his family and relatives.
In his closing statement during the Presidential Candidates Forum organized by the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas, Pacquiao emphasized that many intelligent presidents served the country but poverty continues.
“Kung paano ako nangarap para maiahon sa kahirapan ang aking pamilya, relatives, ganun din po ang aking pangarap na maiahon sa kahirapan ang buong sambayanang Pilipino,” he said.

Pacquiao said he wants to give Filipinos free housing, jobs, business, and livelihood.
He also vowed to eradicate corruption and imprison corrupt officials, who, he said, are the cause of poverty of Filipinos.
“Gusto kong makita sa kulungan ang lahat ng magnanakaw sa gobyerno na silang dahilan ng paghihirap ng sambayanang Pilipino,” he said.
