Over a million Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine doses arrive in the Philippines

More than a million doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine arrived in the country on Wednesday night.

The 1,023,750 Pfizer doses arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport past 9 p.m.

The additional vaccine supply was procured by the government through the World Bank.

The Philippines has so far administered 124,510,385 vaccine doses.

At least 57.8 million Filipinos have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The country has so far recorded 3,475,293 COVID-19 cases including 3,192,219 recoveries and 53,664 deaths. —NB, GMA News
